Rimini
Rimini is just a few kilometers from Bellaria Igea Marina: it is the most important coastal city and one of the most famous beach towns in Italy. Its coast attracts thousands of tourists every summer and the beach is home to numerous nightclubs that have made Rimini one of the entertainment capitals.
An ancient Roman colony and the birthplace of Federico Fellini, Rimini has a rich history, splendid buildings and ancient monuments, primarily built during the reign of the Malatesta family. The heart of the city is Piazza Cavour where, between the gothic outline of Palazzo dell'Arengo and the Palazzo del Podestà exhibition area, there is a statue of Paolo V; nearby, there is the old 17th century fishing port, which is now a gathering place for Rimini's youth with lounge bars and wine cellars open until dawn.
The archeological site at Piazza Ferrari recently opened which allows visitors to admire the "surgeon's dwellings" both night and day... a small and striking Pompei uncovered during a dig.
You can visit one of the most important Renaissance buildings in Rimini: the Malatesta Temple. Now a cathedral, the church has an extraordinary Vasari altar piece and a crucifix painted by Giotto; along with the Castel Sigismondo and the Sant'Agostino Church, it represents one of the most important architectural works of the city.

Rimini is a modern and dynamic city. Its 450,000+ m2 conference center is an important exhibition center with 16 pavilions and 20 conference rooms. It is just four km from the city center and hosts various conferences, including the distinguished "SIA" (International Hotel Furniture Show), the "SIGEP" (International Gelato Show), the "MIA" (International Food Show) and "Pianta Birra", "My Special Car" (Special and Sports Car Show), the "SIB" (International Dance Club Show) and the "SUN" (Foreign Furniture Show).
How to reach us
By Train
You'll arrive at the Igea Marina station. Take a taxi or cross the pedestrian island to reach the avenue that runs along the beach and turn left. After just 20 meters, you'll see the bus stop on the other side of the street. Take bus 4 and get off at stop 43. St. Moritz Hotel is right there. Otherwise, continue on foot for about 1,200 meters until you see Bagno 56. Then turn left onto via Properzio and after 80 meters, you'll see St. Moritz Hotel on your left.
By Air
From the Rimini Federico Fellini Airport (25 km), take bus 9 and get off at the train station. Change to bus 4 (direction San Mauro Mare) and get off at stop 43 in front of our hotel. If you arrive by car, get off at the airport exit and turn left on via Popilia (SS16). Go straight towards "Ravenna" for about 14 km; at the roundabout with via Tolemaide, get off at the first exit and continue straight for about 1.2 km until the stop light. Now you are in front of the beach: turn left and travel along the coast for about 4 km until you reach bagno 56 in Igea Marina. Turn left onto via Properzio and after just 70 m, you'll see Hotel St. Moritz on the left.
By Car
From Milan, Florence of Venice, go to Bologna and take highway A14 to Rimini. Get off at Rimini North. Continue to the roundabout. Take exit 3 to the following roundabout. Take exit 2 (via Tolemaide) and go straight for about 1.2 km to the stop light. Now you are in front of the beach: turn left and travel along the coast for about 4 km until you reach bagno 56 in Igea Marina. Turn left onto via Properzio and after just 70 m, you'll see Hotel St. Moritz on the left.
